About Me

My name is Mark Greene and I’m a 28 year old Java developer & entrepreneur.

My entrepreneurial and Java experience were both forged in my very first software startup which I co-founded with some friends. It has since grown to 8 full time employees and over 50 clients. It currently enjoys a well positioned and superior product in its marketplace. I am currently filling many roles but managing the technical day to day operations as well as the lead developer best describes what I spend my time on.

I started this blog for a couple reasons. I felt this was the proper channel for showcasing my knowledge in a portfolio like fashion without having to spend time maintaining a web site. Additionally, I hope my short tutorials will help other developers and the overall open source community by providing real world examples and best practices.
